@DrewRoberts Soda Water has zero grams of sugar.

And I get "just a splash" of cranberry juice. (3.8 grams of sugar per ounce of juice)

Here's my list of good non-alcoholic drinks for social gatherings:

1. Cranberry + Soda (very little sugar, easy to drink)
2. Virgin Caesar's [Bloody Mary] (I order them spicy)
3. Kombucha (if they have it on tap)
4. Spirit-free cocktails

Products have unintended uses.

I most frequently use the @AppleTV Remote app to check on a movie my kids are watching, and see how much time is left.

Last night, I dreamt that @derrickreimer bought a yacht and a bunch of us went for a cruise.

It was fun, until a guy put his hand in my glass of water.

We were about to fight, but Derrick burst into the room and yelled: “Who wants Twizzlers?” and totally diffused the situation.

@david_l991 @patrickbjohnson True, the UX of browser settings could be improved.

If this "pop up" strategy is effective, why not just have the browser show it once, and save the settings for all sites?

"What level of privacy do you want?"

Centralizing the implementation still seems better. 👌

@tuacker I agree with the spirit; but disagree with the implementation.

Feels like we should control privacy settings and permissions at the browser level.

@david_l991 @patrickbjohnson I think we should be able to go to `/privacy` on any website and see what they're using for tracking.

(Also: isn't it better to control privacy settings and permissions at the browser level?)

@ow @natekontny @shl Nate, Owen, and Sahil, I'm curious:

Do you find yourself watching more video? (YouTube, Netflix)

Or reading more articles?

Or less consumption overall?

(For myself, I noticed I'm watching way less Netflix and YouTube - maybe once a month)

@natekontny @shl There’s also a possible future where people abandon video because it’s too consuming.

Audio has an advantage here: you can listen to something mindfully. You can look at the world around you. You can be in nature. You can close your eyes.

@natekontny @shl don’t tell me that 😜

I think we’re still far from saturation.

Podcasts compete with listening to radio or music. People do that everywhere: in the car, on the bus, while walking, doing the dishes.

There are 36 million YouTube channels, and only 700k podcasts. Lots of room.

I met Nick at the "Future of Web Apps" conference in 2011.

For a long time, he was one of the most talented web developers I knew.

Then, he became a proficient teacher.

THEN he became a versatile AR, VR, and game developer!

You should hire him. 🎯 https://twitter.com/nickrp/status/1135898867403243521

@louisnicholls_ @LandonB32 @mubashariqbal @tylertringas I've served some pretty small markets! 😉

You could be right about being able to mitigate churn (with a smaller customer base). And you might be right; maybe it is more fun!

It'd be nice if we had more open data on how "# of active customers" effects different parts of a biz.
