And I get "just a splash" of cranberry juice. (3.8 grams of sugar per ounce of juice)

Here's my list of good non-alcoholic drinks for social gatherings:

1. Cranberry + Soda (very little sugar, easy to drink)
2. Virgin Caesar's [Bloody Mary] (I order them spicy)
3. Kombucha (if they have it on tap)
4. Spirit-free cocktails

Products have unintended uses.

I most frequently use the @AppleTV Remote app to check on a movie my kids are watching, and see how much time is left.

Audio has an advantage here: you can listen to something mindfully. You can look at the world around you. You can be in nature. You can close your eyes.

I think we’re still far from saturation.

Podcasts compete with listening to radio or music. People do that everywhere: in the car, on the bus, while walking, doing the dishes.

There are 36 million YouTube channels, and only 700k podcasts. Lots of room.

You could be right about being able to mitigate churn (with a smaller customer base). And you might be right; maybe it is more fun!

It'd be nice if we had more open data on how "# of active customers" effects different parts of a biz.

Losing 10 customers when you have 100 is a big deal. Less so at 500.

When you have lower numbers, every customer that churns results in a bigger % of revenue lost.
