@_rchase_ @wardsandler Yes, that’s interesting to me.

I wish we had some @megamaker members who were also in Earnest so we could get a comparison between the two.

A lot of the benefits seem to be things MegaMaker offers (or has offered in the past).

@PaulDMendoza If you only want the “how to build a SaaS” content, that only happens once (for us, Feb 2018 - July 2019). It’s built.

Now, it’s about us sharing our current journey. That includes the whole person.

For the podcast, we know that will mean less listeners. We’re ok with that.

@MisterNeem That’s the first printing (I don’t even have a copy!) let me know if there are any problems. 👍

@jhooks This isn’t about being “anti-Amazon” as much as it is about “co-operating and collaborating.” It’s about the underlying structures.

We’ve already seen success with this here in Vernon: we’ve helped (free of charge) restaurants, cafes, and a skateboard shop get online + survive.

@MicheleJGelfand @HiddenBrain Your conversation game me a framework for understanding why there’s so much difference between Canada and the USA with regards to guns.

We never had to overthrow the British!

@nbashaw To me, the demand leads everything.

Too little demand, and every idea will fail.

If there’s lots of demand, even mediocre execution can win.

@nbashaw I differ on this one.

Demand is the horse that pulls the reigns of supply.

@chadkoh Wow! What a ride!

Aspirationally, I’ve always been attracted to big, exciting cities.

But I have to say, it been nice to be in a (relatively ritual) small city like Vernon.

@JamesAddison (disclaimer I’m not an international tax attorney)

There is no additional tax implication. You are still receiving income and paying tax on it here in Canada.
