Curious: why are so many dress shoes made with a pointed toe?

My toes get all squished in a shoe shaped like this, but I never see high-end shoes with a "square" toe.

Unlikely.

I still see tons of folks using the old Twitter logo (which changed in 2010).

It’s hard enough to change a logo when you keep the brand name the same. Even harder with “X”

So much of the value of Twitter was the brand: Twitter logo, “Tweet” and “Retweet” were universally known.

If you replace Twitter icon with “X” on your site no one will recognize it. 🤦‍♂️

I guess the takeaway here is that if you want people to care about the stuff you make, you need to:

a) make good stuff,
b) tell people about it,
c) show your enthusiasm.

Genuine enthusiasm is contagious.
