A big response rate is 20+

Most successful B2B companies focus on professionals who are headed towards a specific destination:

- "Equip me to design better ___."

⚡️ This same logic applies to software products too.

"____ for beginners" won't do as well as a product that helps an intermediate go pro.

⚡️ Courses for beginners often don't do that well.

It's because there's lots of free content for people starting out. Also, beginners aren't as willing to pay for training.

But folks who are intermediate, and want to become pros, are much more motivated to pay to learn.

⚡️ Unconventional teaching tip:

Most learners need to go from Step 0 → Step 3 themselves.

It's the intermediate learners who plateau that need the most help.

(They're also the most likely to pay for training)

@r00k It really depends on *who* is emailing.

Works fine for folks I have an existing relationship with.

But folks from my newsletter / podcast don't respond well to that approach. ;)
