These Main Street shops saw their businesses destroyed, almost overnight.

If we can do anything to make their lives easier + better, we should!

It’s such a huge wave of grief for them.

Hard for them to “pull up their bootstraps” when they’ve already seen so much of their biz disappear.

- buy takeout / online orders if you can
- write your elected officials asking for loans / grants / relief for small biz

That’s a base necessity right now because otherwise these small shops need to run separate platforms.

I'm especially frustrated because I'm seeing what small shops are up against.

I'm technical, and I can barely figure out how to get these ecommerce platforms working (while keeping it affordable).

Any help tech giants provide can give small biz a better chance of surviving. 🙏

@abadir_ @Square Ok. But it's not as simple as "just use Stripe;" you still need some sort of e-commerce platform.

I realize I might sound harsh, but in the past week I've tried helping 5+ local retailers move their business online, and each of these items is another piece that discourages store owners and makes them want to quit.

Fixing the checkout UI + free domain connection feels doable.
