They hadn't updated it in a while (and it still used a lot of jQuery) so we decided to level up with all the magic that @adamwathan and @calebporzio have been cooking up lately. ✨
So how do us folks who didn’t go Harvard, put ourselves in a place to spot new opportunities?
Well, we now have access to online communities. This might be the big leveler. If you’re curious about a sector of the economy, there’s probably an online community dedicated to it.
And privilege plays a big role here (again, it seems most of luck is where, when, and to whom you were born).
When folks go to Harvard, they get to meet some of the most connected people in the world. They’re privy to opportunities most folks will never even hear about.
Even better, this book helped me understand my son better. I started seeing the world through his eyes, and how difficult it must be for him to go to school every day.
It gave me hope that we can help him. ❤️
Thank you @LynMullalyHunt, for writing such a powerful story.

My son (grade 5) struggles with dyslexia.
I’ve been reading him this book by @LynMullalyHunt. We just finished it.
It is the most incredible book! He begged me to read it to him every night, and really identified with the main character (Ally).
“Things will not always be easy; sometimes we do fail. But it isn't failing that makes you a failure. It's staying down that does. The ability to stand up, brush yourself and try again is a huge strength. It's something that will take you very far in your life.” – @LynMullalyHunt
