For workers, the rules are changing faster than ever.

A degree used to be your ticket to a good job. That's not good enough anymore; now, you've got to be Ivy League.

To get hired nowadays, you've got to have a good network. Your resume's not good enough.

For @megaprofitable my criteria has been this:

- founder has to pay themselves a reasonable salary ($100k for most)
- founder is full-time

Startups like @zapier were the first to realize that "normals" use APIs too.

But there's still way more progress that could be made here.

But recently I’ve started hiring again, and it’s been an incredible experience.

Example: I’ve had bad experiences hiring people in the past.

The resentment turns to ideology: “I don’t hire people. Solopreneur 4 life!”

The lie I’ve believed is that it’s “too late (or pointless) to do [a certain good thing].”

This belief gets solidified as an ideology.

They want something better.

You might think people NEED your product.
