@saaspnr I agree that those things are shitty.

But eventually, business bets need to provide financial returns.

It can't be "I get the lifestyle, but sacrifice the financial."

Over the long term, you're going to need financial returns.

@ianjanicki For many career paths, entrepreneurship means foregoing consistent promotions and opportunities in the industry.

I worked in non-profits until I was 28. I learned a ton and gained many skills, but that experience wasn't rewarded in the market when I was looking for work. 😉

@abhishekray07 Yes... but within reason.

Entrepreneurship is a huge risk (financially).

You're giving up some of the best years of your career to focus on a bet that might not work out.

The potential financial rewards should account for the risks you're taking.

Curious, if inflation is the concern with MMT... have there been any studies on inflation in a digital economy?

With so many goods and services unrestrained by physical supply, it feels like inflation might not be as big of an issue?

@_brandswell @fritzinc I haven’t! But his “the underlying structure creates the behavior” theory instantly made me think of US politics (and populism).

@antesepic Oh yeah! I dig it.

I would love an option that also allows me to save tweets (I use @botmarker for this currently, but I can't search them)

(Note that I didn't say "a consistent way for you to find customers.")

I believe customers should already be searching for a solution. There should be some form of existing momentum.

People want something; you're giving it to them.

@smgrieser Yup. When deal flow is slow or inconsistent it's really hard to build a business (especially in SaaS).

@abhishekray07 Yes. For me "their desire + ability to pay" encapsulates the customer's LTV, churn, etc. If they want to pay to solve the problem, they'll keep paying.

@happydragos I can understand that.

Functioning human societies require trust in shared institutions, but those same institutions can (sometimes) abuse that trust.

Here in Canada I’d say our public institutions are:

- not perfect
- need to get better
- overall a net positive for citizens

@happydragos Human society requires a baseline of trust in shared institutions.

With Archbee, you trust a variety of vendors: their docs, their press releases.

Vendors can (and sometimes do!) mislead people. But generally, they’re trustworthy.

If we throw it all away, that’s anarchy.
