@nathanbarry This was pivotal for me: I realized that to learn how to make money Iโd need to practice, starting with something small and growing from there.
BTW @Pinboard, while there aren't a ton of 1-person tech businesses, there are a handful of us ~2-5 person indie tech businesses who are also "shaking their fist" at the broader tech economy. ๐
An externality is a cost that a business imposes on society (like polluting the local river). Wikipedia: โindirect cost or benefit to an uninvolved third party.โ
Whatโs interesting is we donโt often consider the externalities that society places on businesses (esp Main Street).
Also: success (even in a market with potential) relies massively on your history, network, connections, experience, skills, etc that will help you win in they category.
