@grmpyprogrammer I think they could keep the podcast directory free, but offer podcasts through Apple Music, or similar subscription.

Apple's "Planet of the Apps" confuses me.

They have a built-in advantage with podcasts.

Why not focus on being the Netflix of podcasting?

@ideasasylum the worst.

Also: illuminated keyboards on MacBooks (which I almost never use in the dark) BUT NO ILLUMINATION ON THE REMOTE?!?

Often, we seek the wrong kind of product validation.

We want people to like us and our idea.

But what we *need* is paying customers!

I'd like a @ConvertKit extension for Gmail that shows me what forms, tags, sequences a sender belongs to.

(Similar to ClearBit)

.@mds lots of sales come through PayPal. For many people it's their "extra spending money."

If I was just using Stripe it'd be perfect. Stripe makes it easy to create a separate account for each project.

PayPal however... 😵

@kylefox argh. I don't know. Sales come from 2-4 different systems, and then are split betweeen Stripe and Paypal.

Huge pain in the ass: generating good sales reports when sales are split between Stripe AND PayPal.

Your product has to be something that makes peoples lives SO GOOD that they can't stop talking about it.

Great products are easy to market.

"The coffee shop referral" should be the ultimate goal for any product.

People like it so much they have to share it with their friends.

I've recommended @TextExpander countless times while working in coffee shops. It's so useful, it feels like a shame to keep it a secret.

Ultimately, every product needs word-of-mouth to succeed.

Nothing beats having someone recommend your product to a friend.
