The "Deploy to @heroku" button makes it easy for anyone to deploy source code from GitHub to Heroku (no manual steps).

One thing I'd ❤️ to see: Heroku pays the developer a commission anytime someone deploys code using this button.

They didn't take VC money, but they figured out how to get funding from other sources:

- $6k of their own cash
- $300k city grant for building renos
- $500k loan
