If you’re looking for a good podcast to listen to this weekend:

@Radiolab has this absolutely delightful mystery that involves Russian subs, the Swedish military, and what happens when you have a culture of secrecy.

@r00k I can’t identify with this (yet?).

Maybe I’m still too early,
or, maybe, it’s because it took a long time for success to happen.

But for me, achieving all of this feels like a lot. It’s a lot of emotion, and gratitude, and fullness.

I can’t identify with that empty feeling.

Enjoyed slowing down today.

Took my youngest skiing in the morning.

(Then had a therapy apmt booked in the afternoon).

Felt good.

Feels like a “slow day on the internet” today.

Not much action on Slack, customer support, email...

Kind of nice 👍

Incredible reporting by @tortoise on wallstreetbets, stonks, and GameStop.

The most complete story I’ve heard yet. If you’re looking at what happened when the dust settled, it’s worth a listen:

@shuggilippo @TwitterSpaces Yes! This. Being able to schedule and then link to Spaces would be awesome.

For example, I could publish a podcast episode with a link to a “listener hangout” scheduled for a few days after the episode goes live. 👍

I need to re-write that article ☝️ ("The Main Thing").

It's not so much about finding "THE ONE THING" but more about finding the products that get most of the value ($) in a category.

(And ignoring the products that get very little $ in the value stack)

Look for opportunities where there’s evidence of existing momentum/behavior.

(Don’t try to build something where you need to go from 0 awareness to 1)

People should already be doing *something* about the problem you're tackling.

There should be some "evidence of demand."

Thanks to everyone who showed up today on Clubhouse for "SaaS Club." 👍

💯

We see this in podcasting as well.

You’re not just competing with other podcasts, or even other audio apps.

Your competition is whatever else is competing for a listener’s time and attention.

This means that “driving/walking in silence” is a competitor! 😮 https://twitter.com/stephsmithio/status/1362183263347859458

@YevP @TransistorFM @backblaze We need to speak with someone right away that can help diagnose our connection between AWS and Backblaze.

Uploads are originating from an AWS EC2 instance on the east coast, using the B2 API.

We've had this working for years, and it stopped working this morning.

I feel like I’ve (finally) figured out a way of learning programming that works for me.

And, as aforementioned, I’m learning tons about my internal mental & emotional health. 👍

@heysirajum I had multiple crises in my 30s. It was definitely a hard decade.

I think I made it a lot harder on myself because I didn’t evaluate some of my foundational beliefs sooner.

- a greater focus on family (including extended family)
- cultivating great friendships

Having more money is incredibly freeing.
