Most of the folks who found a successful business idea were already in motion (often exploring other ideas).

I need to re-write that article ☝️ ("The Main Thing").

It's not so much about finding "THE ONE THING" but more about finding the products that get most of the value ($) in a category.

(And ignoring the products that get very little $ in the value stack)

Look for opportunities where you can get a significant portion of the value stack.

Ignore categories where existing players seem to get very little of the value stack.

Look for opportunities where there’s evidence of existing momentum/behavior.

(Don’t try to build something where you need to go from 0 awareness to 1)

People should already be doing *something* about the problem you're tackling.

There should be some "evidence of demand."

Transfers from AWS to B2 are taking forever. Small files (20MB - 50MB) are taking 50+ minutes!

@heysirajum I had multiple crises in my 30s. It was definitely a hard decade.

I think I made it a lot harder on myself because I didn’t evaluate some of my foundational beliefs sooner.

- a greater focus on family (including extended family)
- cultivating great friendships
- sorting out my inner self. Figuring out what I want, personally (not just in business)

Having more money is incredibly freeing.
