@hfzvc That list feels pretty simple to me. 😄

"Removing an obstacle" is the simplest way to build something valuable.

@tylertringas Yup. It's super hard.

Plenty of examples of people who persisted, and won.

Also... plenty of example of people persisted, and lost.

@justinkan This is great Justin. I'd love it if you added a new section about your decision to not drink. 👍

@jayclouse Hahaha. That's awesome. I grew up pretty "country" and never experienced "bring your own food." 😜

@evanmoir @ow I'd that really a thing? Live podcasts pushing musicians out of live venues?

@_patrickpistor It's definitely one of my faves! 👍

I've also been really enjoying Seth Godin's "Akimbo" podcast lately.

@Mat_Sherman Does it really work the other way? 😜

Google and startups stand to miss out on some amazing hires.

"Bootstrapping" stands to lose... what?

@dannyfiorentini Thanks for chiming in. Great to hear your voice here. 👍

Like Transistor, it looks like most of your customers are on the lowest paid tier.

Do you think, in the future, you'll see more expansion revenue?

@nelsonjoyce Yes, Buffer's Open Startups definitely showers a higher % of revenue churn for $250+ plans.

@boaticus @r00k @CasJam "How does this affect churn" is just one variable to consider.

To your point...

We do have a few @TransistorFM customers who have said: "I would gladly pay more."

But for every customer like that, we might have 100 who wouldn't pay more.

That's the balancing act.

@r00k @CasJam I thought that was significant too.

It was interesting to me that we don't pay more for the stuff that runs our life. (Even though it's important).

We pay very little for Gmail, but it's the most important app we use (likely).

Product category has a big influence on price.

@VoidMonk 1. @ajlkn, solo-founder of http://Carrd.co, supports 200,000 users, and charges $19 / year.

2. B2B buyers want a deal just as much as anybody. They care about it so much they hire professional buyers to do it for them.

@JordanGal BTW - I'm not sure if my goal is to "make more." (At least now currently) I'm simply trying to "make enough."

If Jon and I can get to $50k MRR, and run a nice little company, I'll be happy.

@JF0LKINS Yeah, you could also create a new podcast on Transistor for that. Just more challenging to record + edit that way.

@JF0LKINS In this case, I think Anchor would be a good platform to use. 👌
