For most founders, you're "investing" for years (over multiple attempts) before you get a chance at genuine success.

You're trying, failing, learning, and trying again until you've (hopefully) built enough skills, connections, intuition, and resources to seize a good opportunity

The hope with entrepreneurship is that all the money you risk, time and energy you spend, sleepless nights, disappointments, setbacks, and failed experiments you experienced along the way will be worth it.

For me personally, podcasts opened up a whole new world to me.

Hearing from folks like @robwalling, who were bootstrapping software businesses, gave me the inspiration, insight, and awareness to eventually launch my own products.

@MapsRus I'm thinking of doing a "hack day" for my son and his friends, where they can come to my coworking place and work on projects they want to finish.

(A few are working on indie games, web apps, music production, digital art, etc...)

I think about this a lot when I see local teenagers in my town: so much of their future depends on what they get exposed to along the way.

It's us (as adults) who have the opportunity to open up their world to new ideas, new experiences, new understandings...

The building blocks for your life are:

- the experiments you try
- the people you meet
- the places you visit
- the books you read
- the skills you build

This all relies on what you get exposed to; it's hard to imagine something you've never experienced.

@ApplePodcasts uses video in RSS, but the video feature is pretty hidden.

YouTube doesn’t currently ingest video via RSS either.

What email do I want to get from my lawyer?

Maybe a newsletter that is specifically written to their SaaS clients about the legal blindspots they see many of us fall into.

Don't send an email the recipient doesn't care about!

The hardest part of writing an email newsletter is making it relevant.

Example: I just got an email newsletter from a lawyer's office. They're talking about their new hires, their partners, and their latest work.

My guess is that 99% of their customers don't care.
