@nbashaw if (as Steve Blank says) a startup is an org that has "repeatable and scalable business model" most B2C startups haven't found it.

@nbashaw so far, there's two that have proven they can make model work:

1. Google
2. Facebook

Tumblr, Twitter, etc... still struggling.

@nbashaw yes, if you're in the ad business, you need lots of eyeballs

You also need to prove you can:
1. sell ads
2. be profitable doing it

I like my web scrolling like I like my butter.

Smooth.

I’ve had smooth scrolling on the web since 1994.

Now in 2015, the scrolling on so many sites is clunky, slow, and jittery.

(Grammar police: I know.)

Most modern websites don’t scroll good.
