Surprises me how many brands put social media icons on their packaging with no usernames.

Remember, products can also steal customers from other verticals:

Uber took users from taxis.
iPhone took users from Kodak.

If folks aren't already spending money to fix the problem that's a bad sign.

Snapchat took users away from Vine.
Drip took users away from MailChimp.
@marketingdevs takes users away from conferences.

Think about it like this:

When you launch something new, and you get a customer...

... you're stealing that customer from someone else.

If you're building a product, you should be able to answer this question:

"What other product are you stealing time and attention from?" ⏰👀
