8/ It's OK to let a few smaller waves pass you by. Stay on the lookout for a wave worth paddling out for. 🏄

7/ Don't stick with a bad idea just because you've invested time in it. Shut it down, and move on.

6/ Ultimately, it's traction that matters. If you're working on something that's not gaining momentum, switch to something else!

5/ Becoming known for 1-2 things is usually better than trying to be known for 100 things (trust me, I've tried).

4/ The skills you decide to focus on, matter. So does the audience you choose. The platforms you invest in also make a difference.

3/ If you've been showing up for years, but have no results, it's likely because you haven't been focused on the right things.

2/ A lot of folks say: "I *have* been showing up for years, but I don't have any results to show for it."

Make a landing page before you code.

It helps you figure out:
1. How hard is it to get traffic?
2. Do folks want it so bad they'll sign up?
