This tweet just made me think of something:

"What makes me willing to promote one person's thing, over someone else?"

A few things
- relationship. Have we talked on Skype? Hung out in real life? Been internet buddies for years?
- quality. I *know* @nickd makes incredible stuff.

Another question to ask about that product you're building:

"How motivated is the customer to solve this problem?"

Giving them the outcome they want.

When you see a successful business, and you try to replicate their success, you're missing the #1 thing that made them successful:

They built a connection with their customers, and grew their understanding of what their customers needed.

Most of the unsubscribes had come from sites like AppSumo, Product Hunt, etc...

Those sites can drive traffic, but the subscribers are a lot more fickle.

Stay focused on the people you're trying to serve!

Lots of folks messaging me to say low completion rates are the norm for online courses...

but also for:

best sellers: #gallery" rel="noopener noreferrer">http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/books/news/the-books-many-start-but-few-finish-top-unread-bestsellers-revealed-9590910.html#gallery

and video games:

Completion isn't the best metric.

But how do you get the outcome if you don't do the work?

@beingbrad Well, @RevolutApp needs to hurry up and open to Canadians.

But the promise is this:
- Hold, receive and exchange 25 currencies without any ridiculous bank charges.
- Send and receive free, instant transfers from other businesses using Revolut.
- Transfer 25 currencies globally

The domestic banking industry is going to get disrupted by global banking startups (like @RevolutApp).

There's really no reason for me to bank in 🇨🇦. All I get is antiquated technology, red tape, and poor customer service.

Whoever becomes the "@stripe for banking" will win.
