But... we're really trying to listen to customers, and help make their lives better.

To achieve success, sacrifice your:
- ego

Don't sacrifice your:
- sleep
- family
- values
- nutrition
- exercise
- mental health
- close relationships

Yes, success often requires sacrifice.

The important part is choosing the *right things* to sacrifice.

Sacrifice ≠ automatic success.

A surefire way to be more interesting and meet more people:

HAVE A COOL PROJECT THAT YOU CAN TELL PEOPLE ABOUT.

For example, if you say: “Oh, I have a YouTube channel where autonomous drones fight each other,” it's for damned sure I'm going to check that out.

Rule #1: almost all career and entrepreneurial progress comes from the relationships you've built along the way.

(Skills are important too, but it's relationships that really opens doors)

A few things about this.

1. I helped Adam / Zapier out with something. I didn't expect anything in return. This little gift is a nice surprise.

2. What makes it EXTRA special is that Adam pays attention. He knows that my favorite coffee shop is @ratiovernon in #vernonbc.
