Finally, I tried @podcast_app.

Search rating: very good

Really friendly search UI.

Results: revealed ~30 matches when searching by topic (ordered newest to oldest)

@jacobtender @chorusfm @chorus_hq Ah. You're right!

.@Castbox_fm was next.

Search rating: very good

Results: allows you to search for keywords in episodes, and returned hundreds of results.

Next up: @pocketcasts

Search rating: poor

Results: Pocket Casts (like Overcast) only searches show titles.

After that I tried @breaker.

Search rating: very good

Results: a search for "James Clear" revealed hundreds of results in episodes (along with "number of likes")

Next, we have the good old @ApplePodcasts app.

Search rating: good

Results: allowed me to refine my keyword search within episodes, and revealed ~30 matches.

Next we have @podysseyapp.

Search rating: very good

While not well known, and a little clunky on the UX front, Podyssey did a pretty good job.

Results: allowed me to search for keywords in episodes, and revealed 20-30 matches.

Up first, @OvercastFM

Search rating: poor

Overcast is my default podcast player, but it's not great for finding episodes that contain specific keywords.

Results: showed only show titles + authors that matched for "clear."
