My kids are older now (13-20), and life is way less hectic now that they're self-reliant.
I found bootstrapping on the side challenging when they were young (especially 0-3).
In retrospect, I'm not sure it was healthy to be building a new business when they were that young.

I'm not anti-Spotify.
But I'm pragmatic: RSS is what's holding the "balance of power" in podcasting.
RSS' distributed nature means nobody owns podcasting. Not Apple, Google, Spotify, or Amazon.
For creators, RSS gives them power. They own the connection with their audience.
