This is why @heroku's "Deploy to Heroku from GitHub" button is such a brilliant innovation. Now, anyone can find useful code + deploy it.

The lower the barrier to entry, the easier it is to adopt said technology. Same goes for products.

The proliferation of PHP, JavaScript, and animated GIFs shows that technology is also a "free market." All 3 have a low barrier to entry.
