(Which is why we've invested so much in this post: https://transistor.fm/how-to-start-a-podcast/)

Often Prosumers will start a podcast for fun, and then get asked to do one for their company.

Many Prosumer purchases are aspirational, but many purchases also just fill a need.

Examples:

"I was sending my newsletter manually using Gmail, and it got too popular, so now I need a tool."
